Get Connected With Mac OS 7.5.2 or Lower

Note:

  • You can get connected with Mac OS 7.5.2 but it is no longer supported by Resnet.
  • This guide assumes that the ethernet card is already installed.
  • Sorry, we can't help with hardware installations...

 

Configuration

  1. Go to the Apple Menu, select Control Panel and open MacTCP.
  2. Make sure the Ethernet icon is highlighted.
  3. Do not type in an IP address.
  4. Choose More...

    MacTCP

  5. Under Obtain Address, select Dynamically.
  6. Because your IP will be assigned DYNAMICALLY, you do not need to enter any other information.
  7. Click on OK.

    TCP/IP Configuration

  8. Reboot your computer.
