Get Connected With Unix/Linux

Notice:

  • You must have root access to perform these steps.
  • You are welcome to use any Unix/Linux OS but it is not supported by Resnet.
  • This guide assumes that the ethernet card is already installed and detected by Linux.

 

Gnome

  1. Run netcfg at the root prompt.
  2. Select Interfaces tab and select eth0.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Select DHCP for Interface configuration protocol.
  5. Make sure Active interface at boot time is selected.
  6. Click Okay to apply the changes.
